gSim

stop a god?

gSim was a solo project I carried out for experimentational purposes. It uses bump
mapping to animate water tiles and linear filtering to smooth textures when seen from
a near-parallel view.

The latest version of gSim allowed the creation of your own flat world by changing
tile types (from water to grass to sand, etc.), the ability to build numerous types of
buildings and plants, and the ability to save and load your worlds.

Trees in gSim grow slowly and seed new trees once fully grown. It is possible to plant
a willow tree and, over time, get an entire willow forest.
